I was saddened to learn of Tyrus' passing. As we celebrate the life of my beloved cousin,a man of warmth, faith, and kindness. Tyrus touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a shining example of love, humility, and perseverance, always ready to share a smile, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement. Tyrus' journey here has ended, but his legacy of faith and love will live on in the lives he impacted. Now, his beautiful soul sings with the angels, joining the heavenly choir and reuniting with family who went before him. As we grieve our loss, we also rejoice in the assurance that Tyrus has heard the Lord's words: "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." May his soul find eternal peace in the arms of the Savior. Rest easy, dear Tyrus, until we meet again in glory. Your cousins in Texas, Billie, Shelle, Shannon & Kenya
Tyrus was a classmate of mine for 12 years. He was a really sweet person. I remember when he sang at the Junior High Talent Show "It was just my imagination'. We were surprised that he sang so well. I used to remind him of that often. Prayers to the family and friends. Tyrus was always down to earth and kind. Jerri Dixon Featherstone
