MS. VALERIE YVETTE MACON – AGE 59, - Of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1966 to Vollie F. Macon, Sr. and the late LaChrisia Dillard Macon in Dalton, Georgia.
Leaving behind a legacy of warmth, loyalty, and grace, she is cherished by her father, Vollie F. Macon, Sr.; brother, Vollie F. Macon, Jr.; her aunts, Suzanne Walton and Daffie Dillard; cousin, Tony Tasker; a host of other cousins, extended family, and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with Bishop Dr. Nicky Paul Starling as Eulogist and Pastor Kenneth Scaife as Presider. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday one hour before the service. Interment, West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
