MRS. VONDA KAY JACKSON MARSHALL - Age 58, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was born November 1, 1964 to Shirley Mack Nared and the late Walter Jackson. She was preceded by her stepfather, James Nared.

Survivors are her loving and devoted husband, Lawrence Marshall; children, Sedrick Shropshire, Zakeya Jackson, Carmen (Stephan) Pendarvis, Shacola Caldwell, Deanna Gaines, Tyshawn & Jerwell Taylor, Imeana (Tia) Kelley, Emari Clark, Jovonna & Jovonte Gaines; grandchildren, Michael, Kierra, Kameron, Chloe, Kofi, Choleigh, Liam, Mazaya, Mila, Dontae, Maliyah, Kennedi, Amayzin, Kamoria; step grandchildren, Brianna, Ariana, Stephan Jr., Molleigh, Gabriel, Samuel, Emari; two great grandchildren; mother, Shirley Mack Nared, stepfather, Elijah Henderson; sister, Yolanda (Sean) Washington; brother, Kim Storey; step siblings, Cleo Nared, James Nared, Anthony and Tony Nared; father-in-law, George (Bobbie) Marshall; brother-in-law, Dr. Robert L. Melson, Sr.; nieces, nephews, Davadrion, Starlette, Tiera, Nikisha, Zana, great nieces, great nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia 30728 with Dr. Robert L. Melson, Sr. as Eulogist and Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, Naomi Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, LLC, Dalton, Georgia.
