I hated to hear of Walter's passing. When Walter was a board member for the VAC, he was one I could always count on. I never had to ask him if he was coming; I just knew he would be there, especially if there was food. I have prayed for you all as you work through this time of grief and loss.

Walter was a great man and great friend, Sometimes the best thing we can do to show our love and concern for each other is simply to pray, and trust that God will supply that which is needed. The Brannon family

To The Family: 🙏🏾 My prayers are with you and we (The Phillips Family) love you all 🫶🏾. My personal memory of June, We would laugh when I came in the post office, we had an inside joke. He would say have it happen yet we both would just laugh. I just loved to hear Deacon Walter pray, if you didn't feel something when he prayed than you might needed to check yourself. This one just 💔 my heart 💜.
Walter and I were apart of a Christian's Men Group called Promise Keepers and I would see him at our meetings. I also saw Walter at the Post Office, he was always so friendly. He always had a smile on his face. I also went to high school with his daughter Carla. We we're in homeroom together. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Walter was a fine Christian example foe me and so many others. My wife Shannon went to school with his other daughter Cynthia. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I can not find the words to express how I am feeling right now after hearing about Walter's death. He was such a joy to work with and so very dependable. The Calhoun-Gordon County AARP Chapter 3178 will miss his hard work in all of their endeavors.

I was so sorry to hear about Walter's passing. We worked together for several years and he was always the sweetest, most humble man who loved his family and his God.
