Obituary For William Arthur 'Bill' Shoemaker

MR. WILLIAM ARTHUR (“BILL”) SHOEMAKER – AGE 84, - Of LaFayette, Georgia and formerly of Naples, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care Center. He was born in Walker County, Georgia, son of the late Junice Shoemaker and Una Powell Shoemaker. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Beasley Shoemaker. He was retired from the City of Naples Water Department. His survivors are his sister, Katherine Shoemaker Stevenson of LaFayette, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Donald White officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment, LaFayette Cemetery.
