To Ernest, Keith, and Family, I was saddened to learn of the loss of your mother. She was a kind and loving person. As a former employee of Charles City County Public Schools, she was dedicated and loyal to the School Division for over 40 years. As a bus driver, she took care to see that the children arrived safely to school in the morning and safely home in the evening. Many may not understand that his was truly an accomplishment and that it wasn't always easy. May God bless and comfort you now and in the days to come. Janet Crawley

Ernest and Keith let me echo sincere condolences for your loss of a great mother and a kind and loving friend to many. I too share many memories of your mom throughout my childhood onto my adulthood. Ms. Julia made me laugh, scorned me gently if I was wrong, encouraged me and let me know she was proud of me. That being said I can just imagine the love she showed to all of you. She will be missed here but God had given her an assignment and it was done. Hold on to God's hand and comfort each other. Continue to share love for one another and your mom will be with you always. Marilyn Crump

To our family Aunt Juliab was a loving and beautiful lady, you were always welcome in her home. My favorite memory of her is watching CNN with her and she was always trying to feed us. We will truly miss her. That loving smile that she greeted us with and memories that we have of her will alway be in our hearts.Rest in Heaven Aunt Julia.
To The Family, The news of the passing of Ms Julia had sadden our hearts deeply. She was a shining light in our community and touched the lives of so many. Our thoughts go back to our school days on the bus and in the cafeteria. She was one of the best cooks and enjoyed feeding us. I was doubly blessed at school and church and she never denied me seconds. God places angels here to watch over us and I know she was sent from above. While we all will shed a tear it two, we must rejoice that she fought a good fight and now she has received her crown. Remember that joy will surely come in the morning. With love and prayers for each of you. Brenda Jones Cotman and Ronald Cotman
