Alice Rebecca Lowery, affectionately known as “Becky” age 52, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Decatur, Georgia.
She was born on May 26, 1973, in West, Mississippi to Rosie Pearl Oliver of Decatur, Georgia, and the late Will Allen Lowery. She was raised with strong values of faith and family, which remained central throughout her life.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Rosie Pearl Oliver (Decatur, GA); her two daughters, Victoriaashley Nicole Sherfield (Lithonia, GA) and Nyashaporsha Omatesse Lowery (Jonesboro, GA); and her two cherished gradnchildren, Jahmel Romaine Dreckette and Melanie Christine Dreckette (Jonesboro, GA). She is also survived by her two brothers, Darrin Darrell Lowery (Decatur, GA) and Willie Allen Lowery, Jr. (Decatur, GA). She was preceded in death by her father, Will Allen Lowery, and leaves to cherish her memory a host of family and friends.
Alice worked in a variety of roles throughout her life, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to help wherever she was needed. Although her health began to decline early in her career, she continued to persevere with strength and determination. No matter the role, she took pride in her work and formed meaningful connections with those around her.
A woman of deep faith, Alice loved God and cherished her family above all else. She will be remembered for strength, her caring spirit and the love she gave so freely.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
Services will be Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11 A M
