Annie Nell-Stevens-Griffins, was born on May 22, 1938, in Camden, Mississippi to the late Otis Sr. and Annie Mae Stevens. At an early age Annie Nell Joined Walnut Hill M.B. Church in Camden, MS; where she was baptized. After many years of marriage. Annie Nell decided to join Delydia Hill M.B. Church where she was a faithful and devoted member.
Annie Nell was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Byron Griffin Sr. & to this union (13) children was born.
Annie Nell was preceded in death by her husband; (Byron Griffin Sr.); Parents: (Otis Sr. & Annie Mae Stevens); Two Grandsons: (Kenneth Griffin & Lil Arbie Hinton); Five Brothers: (Roy White, Jonny, Otis Jr., Jimmy and Odell Stevens); Stepmother: (Dorothy Stevens).
Annie Nell leaves to cherish her memories (13) children: Debra (Pastor Leonard) Jones, Pastor Thomas (Margret) Griffin, Jewel (Dr. Arbie) Hinton, Wilma (Frankie) Kitchens, Byron Griffin Jr., Randy Griffin, Shirley Griffin, Carolyn (Jeffery) Hunter, Keith (Brandi) Griffin, Gwendolyn (Chauncey) Tipton, Corey (Amber) Griffin, Tiffany (Ray) Luckett and Gregory (Jasma) Griffin; Four siblings: Juanita Griffin, Sandra (James) Banks, Don (Chrisitine) Stevens and Sylvester (Paulene) White; Six sister-in-laws: Wydean Stevens, Carolyn Stevens, Shirley Stevens, Christine Simmons, Elnora White, and Laverne Johnson; (46) Grandchildren; (25) Great-Grands. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
