Mrs. Autherine Mason Levy was born March 14, 1956, to the late Dessie Mae Washington and Marrel Mason in Jackson, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Theophilus "Junior" Mason and sister, Jean Carol Mason McGee.
Autherine received her education at Callaway High School and graduated from the class of 1973. She also graduated from the class of 1975 from Utica Community College. On June 21, 1981, Autherine united in holy matrimony with Jack Levy and to this union one child was born, O'Dessie Monique Levy.
Her special passions were singing for The Lord whether it be with The Rockett Singers or in he Pleasant Grove Church Choir; taking care of others for over thirty years as a CNA; planting and growing her flowers; and talking to friends and family daily with love and precious advice.
Autherine leaves to cherish her memories; a husband, Jack Levy; daughter, O'Dessie Monique Levy; special daughter, Temesia McGee; stepchildren, Greg (LaSandra) Levy, Jackie(Rico) Hunter, and Richard Riley; sister, Latisha (Kenny); brothers, Glen (Glendia) Mason and R.D. Boggans; grandchildren, Heaven-Leigh Alston, B.J. Alston, and Mason McBride; special aunts, Veronica Mance, Annie Mae Galloway, and Bobbie Jean Galloway; a special friend, Sharon "Nea Nea" Miller; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
