Obituary For D L Brown

Mr. DL Brown was born September 18, 1933, to the late Jessie Brown and Clydia M. Black. Although Clydia was DL's God-given mother, Mrs. Lena Brown became DL's God-sent mother at an early age of his life along with three more siblings, Lena, Mary, and James.

DL was preceded in death by one son, Jessie Brown of Gulfport, MS; one, brother, David Brown of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters; Lena Cain and Katie Lee of Kosciusko, MS; and one sister-in-law: Georgia Brown of Kosciusko, MS.

He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Rev. Jackie Brown of Springfield, Virginia, Joe Brown of Columbia, South Carolina, and Jerry Brown of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Mary Spivey of Milwaukee, WI, and Sarah Hamilton of Gulfport, MS; one brother, James Brown of Kosciusko, MS; six grandchildren: Talisha Sandifer, Jason Alston both of Kosciusko, MS, Joe Brown, Greg Brown, Theta Brown, and Jada Brown, all of Columbia, South Carolina; four Great- Grandchildren, Vinterrious Hunt and Vinson Hunt both of Kosciusko, MS, Collins and Conner Brown both of Columbia, South Carolina; and host of nieces, nephews, and beloved relatives.
