Obituary For Delores Marie Williams

Ms. Delores Marie Williams was born on June 17, 1967 to Mrs. Willie Ella Williams and the late Lem Williams in Gary, Indiana. She is the oldest of twelve children. On August 28, 2021 Ms. Delores Marie Williams was called home to live in her new home with the Lord.

She preceded in death by her father Lem Williams, a sister Gloria Jean Carter Williams, her daughter Dominique Devetta Williams, and a great niece.

At an early age she gave her life to Christ and joined the LongBranch Missionary Baptist Church where she attended church. Also was Sunday school secretary and a choir member.

Ms. Delores Marie Williams went to school at Durant Attendance Center now known as William Sullivan Elementary. She received her GED at the Rose Banks Learning Center in Tchula, MS.

Ms. Delores Marie Williams worked at Durant Electric Co. in Durant, MS for years until her health started to fail. Years after that she worked at the Rehabilitation Center in Kosciusko, MS until her health worsened.

Ms. Delores leaves to cherish, her mother Willie Ella Williams West, MS; a son, Lorenzo (Jasmine) Cross Jackson, MS; five sisters: Jackie Williams, West, MS, Doris (Jimmy) Williams-Hope, Augusta, GA, Shannon (Johnny) Williams, West, MS, Diane (Robert) Williams, West, MS, Mamie Williams, TX; nine brothers: Kenny (Doris) Williams, Dallas, TX, Calvin Williams, Houston, TX, Lem David (Crystal) Williams, Jackson, MS, Junior (Mamie) Williams, West, MS, Johnathan Williams, West, MS, Willie (Annette) Williams, Augusta, GA, Tommie Lee (Iona) Williams Alton, III, Joseph (Lawanda) Williams and Eric Williams, TX. Two aunts: Willie Mae Blue and Eula Pam both from Indiana. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In her life here in earthly form she was blessed with one awesome son Lorenzo Deon Cross and an amazing, very special and blessed helpmate Jasmine.
