Obituary For Donnie Ray Williams

Donnie R. Williams also known as, "Dolemite and OG." He was a thoughtful, caring, and one-of-a-kind man. He never met a stranger and had an abundance of love for kids.

Donnie was born May 8, 1954, to John Sr. and Luella Dye Williams. He professed hope in Christ at an early age while attending St. James Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents, a brother (Jimmy) and bonus son (Cordarius).

Donnie attended Ferriday High School in Ferriday Louisiana. He spent his life working as certified heavy equipment operator for T.L. James and then Beard Construction until his retirement.

Donnie, leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Rosalind and four children: Vernita Rayne Barber, Willian (Shirley), Woodruff, Louis Woodruff, and Jarius McChriston. Four siblings: Johnny Jr. (Nadine) Williams, Willie Mae Conley, Carolyn Williams and Terry Williams.

Seven grandchildren, two sisters-in-law: Jeanne Jones and Sarah Thomas. Two Brothers-in-law: James Young (Barbara). Lifelong brothers/friends: Leonidas England and Lee Kelly Franklin and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
