Obituary For Helen Ruth Hudson
Helen Ruth Carr, daughter of the late Mr. Frank Carr and Mrs. Willie B. McCool Carr, was born in Attala County, Mississippi, on July 7, 1927.
As a young woman, Ruth moved to Detroit, Michigan. After earning her Master's degree, she became an educator in the Michigan Public School System.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hudson, and three sisters: Christine Pullum, Mary Francis Thomas and Earline Carr.
She is survived by her son, Michale Hudson, of Detroit, MI; her niece, Patricia Bell; her nephew, Wendell Pullum. She is also survived by several cousins, other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
