Obituary For Jerry Douglas Hodge

Jerry Douglas was born on January 21, 1962, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to George D. Hodge and Margarett B. Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tony Hodge and Stephen Hodge.

He was a member of Lincoln Park Holiness Church in Raleigh, NC where he was also a member of the male choir before he moved to Mississippi. Jerry was a nice and very friendly person. He graduated from Broughton High School (Raleigh, NC) in 1978.

Jerry began a career at Tyson Foods in Carthage, MS. He worked with Tyson for 29½ dedicated years until his health failed him. He was described by his co-workers as a very quiet and dedicated worker.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memories two loving brothers, Terry (Roberta) Hodge, Zebulon, NC; Chris (Lisa) Hodge, Zebulon, NC; one loving sister, Glenda Hodge, Zebulon, NC. He also leaves nieces, nephews, and a close friend, Annie Hill, who cared for him dearly, along with her daughter, grandkids and family. Jerry leaves friends and co-workers to cherish his memory, also at Tyson Foods in Carthage, MS.

INTERMENT: Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS
