Joe Henry Griffin was born February 2, 1967, to the late Wheeler and Irene Griffin. He was the 2nd child born to this union. Both parents preceded him in death along with his beloved brother James Griffin.
Joe received his education at Thomastown Attendance Center. After receiving his education he was employed as a Concrete Finisher. During his pastime, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
On Friday January 24, 2025, Joe transitioned at the Oasis Haven Assisted Living in Terry, Mississippi.
Joe leaves to cherish the sweet memories of his life, daughters: Terrika Griffin, Carthage, MS and Tierra Griffin, Gulfport, MS; Grandchildren: Jakayla Ashford, Kayleigh Latiker, Kayanie Latiker, Carthage, MS, Tikiya Lee, Timarion Lee and Timiyah Lee, Gulfport, MS; sister: Linda (Terrell) Hodges, Sr., Alexandra, LA; aunts: Willie Jean Jones, Kosciusko, MS; Johnie Harris, Bobbie Jean Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson, Lois Cross, all of Milwaukee; uncles: Delmar Griffin, Canton, MS; Willie Griffin, Milwaukee, WI; niece: LaKysha (Marcus) Bird, Brandon, MS; nephews: James Tatum and Alex Griffin, Jackson, MS, Terrell Hodges, Jr., Baton Rouge, LA. A special friend Stella Lee, Pickens, MS.
