Obituary For John Wayne Ragsdale
Mr. John Wayne Ragsdale was born on November 23, 1944, to the late Ida Pearl Dodd and Herman D. Dodd of Carthage, MS.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Charity M.B. Church.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Helen Gean Ragsdale on February 18, 1967, to this union five children were born.
On February 27, 2025 at 11:11 p.m. in the comfort of his home; God called Wayne's soul to rest.
He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters: Beverly Burge, Helen McCallum and Shaune Ragsdale all of Carthage, MS and Melnee Odom of Jacksonville, FL; and one son Anthony Ragsdale Jr. of Ridgeland, MS. He leaves ten grandchildren, one brother: Bobbie Joe (Loretta) Ragsdale and one sister: Jeanette Vaxter. He has one brother, Bob Lee Myrick who preceded him in death.
He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
