J.R. Clark was born September 3, 1939 to J.C and Marentchia Clark in Dossville, Mississippi. He was baptized and became a Christian at an early age. J.R. was a long time member of Tipton Street Church of Christ. the past two years he was a devoted member of South Huntington Street Church of Christ.
J.R. enjoyed helping others, drinking coffee and eating sweets, especially chocolate. You could always find him working on a project whatever it was, a tractor, car or lawn mower, which was in line with his career choice as a mechanic.
J.R. was never afraid to meet a stranger, found joy in spending time with family, friends church members J.R. was very strong minded and strong willed, refusing to give up and would give his all to completing any task.
J.R. leaves to cherish his memory, wife Betty Clark; two children, five stepchildren, two nieces and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In loving memory of family members: Theresa Wilkes sister, Marentchia Clark grandmother, JC Clark grandfather, Albert Clark uncle, Jesse Nash aunt and our Dad farewell until we meet again.
