I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I have fond memories of the Burt family and their kindness. When our ride to an assembly in Madison left us stranded, my mother, Georgia, asked Brother Burt if he could give us a ride home. Without hesitation, he and his wonderful wife took us home. I will never forget that gesture, even though it was nearly 40 years ago. My condolences go out to his wife, daughter, family, and friends. You never forget a kind soul like Brother Burt.May Jehovah and the promise of resurrection help heal the pain of his passing, as one day Brother Burt will return.
Your words have comforted us, your support has strengthened us, and your love has sustained us. We extend our deepest thanks to you for your kindness during this very difficult time. We appreciate you it more than words can express, and it will always be remembered. Thank you from the Lemar Burt family.
