Leotha Ashford was born April 18, 982, to Linda Hughes Ashford and Kenneth Ashford. He departed this life, December 19, 2024. For the majority of his life, he was a resident and attended school in Ethel, MS. He was employed with Tyson Foods for a brief period, before becoming self-employed. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting.
Leotha was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Ricky Patterson; grandparents, Martha Ashford Winters and Otha B. Ashford: Cleota and Lewillie Hughes.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his children Lavorius Ashford, Calin Thompson and Major Cheaton; his father, Kenneth (Ozie) Ashford; sisters Stannica Kimbrough, Kimberly Reyes, Jennifer (Fred) Clark; special cousin Melody Hughes, of which we are so grateful.
Memories to cherish aunts and uncles Cynthia (Todd) Cross, Charlotte Hampton, Melvin (Denise) Ashford; cousins LaRaye, Dionna, Mary, Bailee, Devin, Erica, Ashford, Taylor, Lamarcus, Christopher, and Marshae; a special friend Annie Winters, and a host of cousins and friends in Ethel.
