Obituary For Leroy Roberson

Leroy Roberson, age 75, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away on March 15, 2026.

Leroy Roberson was born on November 24, 1950, in Possumneck, Mississippi, to Josephine (Gaines) Roberson and C.L. Roberson. He was raised in Attala County, where he built the foundation of the life he would go on to live with strength, humor and faith.

Leroy worked as a truck driver and was also known in the community for owning the “Blue Store," where he connected with many people over the years. He was well known, respected, and loved by many in the community.

Leroy was a man known for his humor, his love for people, and his unwavering faith in the Lord. He had a way of bringing joy to those around him, often making others laugh and feel at ease. Above all, he deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Roberson, and his son, Yancey Roberson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Brandi Carter, Orlanda Jenkins and April Roberson; grandchildren: Robert Mack IV, Rylan Veasley, Ya'Kaiya Roberson, Ya'Kenya Roberson and Ya'Kyra Roberson; sister, Bernadine Council; brother, Cornelius Gaines; sister-in-law, Bobra Boyd; brothers-in-law, Robert Buckley and Richard Pullum; along with host of other relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Leroy's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in all who knew and loved him.
