Mr. Lowell Thomas Carter was born August 5, 1969, in Winston County, Mississippi, to Thomas and Shirley Carter. He departed this life on Monday, April 6, 2026, at his home in Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Mr. Carter was a member of Plantation M.B. Church in Ethel, MS. He was known for his love of family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with those he loved. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Carter; his mother, Shirley Carter; his grandmother, Mrs. Audrey Mae Triplett Lee and Mrs. Willie Mae Brown Carter; and his grandfathers, Mr. Sam “Knott” Carter and Mr. Earnest Lee.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Mrs. Wanda C. Carter; his children, Kendric Carter and Gerald (Sierra) Carter; one sister, Arches (Leon) Lewis; one brother, Darrie Carter; his grandmother, Louis Lee; two God children: Aubri J. Roby and Landen D. Roby; eleven grandchildren; five uncles and nine aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers and loved ones.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael J. Carter; one brother, Anthony J. Carter and three sisters, Frances Alston, Crystal Mays and Marty Carter.
