Mary Ellen Herron (Woodson) was born to Lincoln and Otto Woodson on March 27, 1933. She attended Tipton High School. At the age of 17, she met and married Harvey Herron Jr. From their union 10 children were born, Dianne Murray, Jo Ann Herron, Dorothy Whitcomb, Donnie and Ronnie Herron, Mary Carter, Lonnie Ray Herron, James Clifton Herron, Tammy Zollicoffer, Tony Herron Sr. She was a grandmother of (46), a great grandmother (74) and great-great grandmother (16).
She worked at Monfort Jones Hospital for 33 years.
Besides her children, she is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and brother Otto Woodson Jr.
Preceded in death are two grandsons, Deon A Herron Sr. and Derrick Herron who gladly welcome her home.
