Obituary For Michael Terrell Lewis

Michael Terrell Lewis was born to the late Mary Lewis and Jessie Lewis in Lexington, MS on June 22, 1978.

He was a proud member of Wal-Mart Management for 22 years.

Michael married to Latoya and they were blessed with two wonderful children (Mikhal, Kendrick) and bonus children (Sommer, Amanda, Jasmine).

Michael leaves behind his Father, Jessie Lewis, Siblings: Casandria (Dannie) Sharkey, Rev. Jesse Lewis, Jr., Tanya (Kelvin) Wright; Grand-daughter, Georgia Holderfield; Mother-in-Law, Della Jackson; Brother-in-law, Kenneth (Sommer) Georgia; Sister-in-law, Shanderia (Michael) Minor, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces: Whitney, Justice, Kala Sharkey; Nephew, Darius Sharkey.

Michael will always be remembered for his kind and willing heart, his love for coaching football, fishing, and children ministry. His love for family, dedication to hard work, wonderful sense of humor, a valued and beloved member of the community, his legacy will continue to shine in the memories of all who were fortunate to know him.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at Durant City Cemetery, Durant, MS 39063 on July 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to @jobeandlewis (Venmo) in his honor.
