Obituary For Raymond Wilks, Jr.
Raymond Wilks went home to be with his heavenly father on December 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Wilks & Harvey Thompson & Johnny Florence Perteet, his sisters, Dorothy Mae Moore, Flora Lovie Wilks & Hattie Lee Thompson, his brothers, Robert Eugene Wilks, Hugh Lee Wilks & Harvey Jr. Thompson and grandchild Raven Amari Wilks.
Raymond served in the Marine Corps from June 15, 1978 to February 16, 1979.
He leaves to cherish a loving wife of 20 years Shirley Wilks, 4 children from a previous marriage, Raymond Eugene Wilks (Katherine) of St. Joseph, MI, Brandy Necole Wilks (Darren) & Dujuan Wilks of Greenville, MS and Titus Wilks (Sierra) of Phoenix, AZ. A loving devoted daughter Victoria Winters of Kosciusko, MS & Rashad Wilks of California, Leonard and Antonio Granderson, one sister, Eloise Perteet, brothers Henry Earl Wilks, Billy Mitchell Wilks, Wayne Wilks. Three nieces and one nephew who were raised as sisters and brother Vanessa Hightower, Patricia Clayton, Dorothy Cotton, Martin Perteet; 23 grandkids and 4 great grand and a host of nieces and nephews.
PLACE OF SERVICE: Traveler's Rest M.B. Church, Kosciusko, MS
DATE OF SERVICE: Tuesday 12/27/2022 at 11:00 a.m.
INTERMENT: Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS
