Mr. Ricky Wayne Riley was born August 7, 1958, to the late Claude "Jack" Riley and Minnie Lee Nash. He peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, July 25, 2022, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS at 9:45 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Minnie Riley; one son Ricky Orlando Riley; two brothers, Henry Riley and Marshal Riley; one nephew, Trumaine Anderson.
Mr. Ricky attended Long Creek Elementary School in Sallis, MS; and McAdams High School in McAdams, MS. He joined Pleasant Grove #1 Church in Thomastown, MS at an early age, and later joined Silas Grove #1 where he served as a faithful deacon until hi transition to his heavenly home.
Mr. Riley was dedicated to his trucking company "Riley and Son's Trucking" for fifteen years which was later changed to Riley's Trucking, LLC. in 2017 to serve his community.
On February 14, 2015, Mr. Ricky married the love of his life, Sabrina Arterberry and God blessed them to unite six children.
Mr. Ricky's memories will forever be cherished by his Loving wife, Sabrina Riley of Kosciusko, MS; his six children, Sherika Rimmer (Maurice) Higgins, Reginald Riley, Rodriguez Davis, LiKrarius Ward and My'Angel Riley all of Kosciusko, MS; his siblings, Claude Riley, Edward Riley, Larry (Josephine) Riley all of Kosciusko, MS, Jerome Riley of Memphis, TN, Helen (Harry) Anderson of Durant, MI, and Margaret Mallett of Kosciusko, MS; spiritual parents, Pastor Jerry & Sister Debbie Meggs; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
