Samuel Edward Foster was born on November 11, 1939, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to the late Laddie Foster, Sr., and Lula Pearl Pearson Foster.
Edward received his education in the Winston County School District in Louisville, MS.
Edward accepted Christ at an early age and joined Marble Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
Edward was married to Hattie Head Foster, and to this union they were blessed with one son.
Edward was a jack of all trades. He was employed as a truck driver, welder, and a sheet metal worker. He retired in 2008 from Mitchell Metal.
Edward was a clever and outspoken man that enjoyed life to the fullest.
Edward departed this life on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Laddie and Lula Pearl, two brothers: Elbert William and Laddie, Jr., two sisters: Virgie Mae and Louiza, and three children: Dirk, Julius, and Tyrell.
Edward leaves to cherish his memories his brother: Mervin, Sr. (Ruby), sisters: Julia Ann and Emma, sons: Douglas and Duck and daughter, Toni. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
