Mr. Will Curtis Meredith was born on November 22, 1959, to the late William Henry Meredith and Madine Allen Hughes Meredith in Attala County, MS. He departed his earthly life on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:45 a.m. at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS with his loving companion (Bobbie) by his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Freddie Lee Hughes, Marvin Hughes, G.L. Meredith.
He received his education from the Attala County School District in Attala County, Mississippi. In July 1978, he was united in holy matrimony to Bobbie Malone of Sallis, MS and four children were reared.
He was known as a “Jack of All Trades” having been employed by AutoZone, City of Kosciusko, Downs Upholstery and Walmart. His best passion in life was being classified as a “Shade Tree Mechanic" and his love for antique automobiles intrigued his mind to learn more about automobiles. In 2009, due to health-related issues, he retired from the workforce.
As a child, he was guided by Jesus Christ and later accepted Christ as his Savior on March 13, 2016, in which he became a member of Silas Grove #2 M.B. Church in Kosciusko, MS. He was baptized in April 2016 and on July 31, 2022, he was ordained as a Deacon of his church. His dedication to family, friends and church was unwavering; always willing to give a helping hand. He was truly loved by many people, and his presence will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a lifelong companion (Bobbie); three daughters: Megan (Christopher) Malone, Katrina (William, Sr.) Rankin, Youngkeisha Meredith of Kosciusko, MS and one son: William (Lakisha) Meredith of Indianapolis, IN; three sisters: Doretha Edwards, Ella Lois Dotson and Wilma Jean (Lester) Winters of Kosciusko, MS; one aunt: Mae Bertha Stewart of Tampa, FL; fifteen grandchildren: Jeremiah, Kendrisha, Dasani, Devon, Kaniziya, Kentavious, Cy'Asia, William Jr., Kaleysha, Kamren, Dajuan, Brianna, Mia, Ke'Marious, Ke'Shyia, a special friend: Dorothy Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
