To: Aunt Marie Thomas On the Road to Emmaus Luke 24:13-35

When Jesus appeared on the road to Emmaus. Two we're walking in discussion about current events. Jesus joined the two, but they didn't recognize him. He inquires about the conversation they were having. One named Cleopas asked, "are you the only visitor in Jerusalem? Do you not know about the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth?

They've told the story including the women at the tomb. As they drew near the village, the two strongly suggested to the stranger, stay and dine with us. When they broke bread, their eyes were opened. They recognized the stranger as Jesus. He then vanished from their sight.

It doesn't matter what road you're on, keep walking Aunt Marie. "You'll Never Walk Alone."My heartfelt love.
