Nettie and I were childhood friends. Her sweet mother, Mrs. Gladys, and her wonderful father, Mr. Molly, adored their daughter. She was the prideful joy of their lives. Nettie was gifted and talented. She was an accomplished pianist from an early age. Her god-given talent as a pianist served the community of Marianna for many years for the church school and community events. Rest in peace, dearest Nettie. Ilona Paulette Walton MSN, RN
