Bishop Albrey Maurice Howard, a beloved and nurturing Son, Father, Father-In-Law, Brother, Uncle, Son-In-Law, Pastor and Friend, heard the voice of God and answered the call on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Surrounded by family, he transitioned from human labor to reward, as his legacy lives on in the lives of so many whom he touched and were forever graced by his presence. Affectionately known to all who knew and loved him as "Al' - a caring, cheerful and vivacious personality, he could fill a room with happiness and bring smiles and delight even to a distant stranger.

He was a faithful servant of God and advocate in the Churches and community, providing weekly Wednesday Free Lunches, Annual Book-Bag and School Supply give aways. His joy was attending church, studying the Word of God, fellowshipping with Saints and Friends, fishing and celebrating Annual Family and Friends Day at Lake McIntosh.
