Words cannot explain who Deacon Knight was to the body of Christ. I remembered him as a young child in church. My mother Pearlean Brown (Deacon) and my dad Melvin Brown had the upmost respect for him. He became their best friend. I recall each of my parents deaths and there in a minutes would stand Deacon Knight to comfort. At the passing of my sister Joyce in 2019 again he was there. At the moment I heard of his death, my heart was moved to look into heaven and say, who will be there for your family Deacon Knight as your transition to heaven. Due to the covid many can't be there but my heart is there as a piece of it went to heaven with you. We loved you. (Randy) & Renee Summers
