We started roommates in the Army and we were quite the pair. She was the best DJ and dancer I'd ever seen. I still have her boom box from 1989 and it works! Carol and I never grew tired of shenanigans and every single day with us was a comedy show. Even our last texts to one another were filled with laughs and I love you's. Carol made life beautiful and she meant the world to so many. She was kind, gentle, caring, thoughtful and patient. Something the world needed more of. I needed that kind of friend 34 years ago when we met and realized as the years passed that I'd always need her friendship as we matured. Rick, Jarrett and Brooklyn you were her entire world and she loved you more than life itself. I'm so very thankful to have had such a friend, the most beautiful ray of sunshine in my life. She will forever remain in my heart. As we always said, "See ya later Bestie!"❤️

On behalf of Spencer-Adams Family Reunion, it is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved cousin "Carol". Like the Crite, Martin, and Barnett Families: Carol was always a strong and willing supporter of our reunions wherever we traveled. We will surely miss her presence and devotion to our Family. Love and heartfelt sympathy to Carol's Mother Lois ("Tootsie"), Husband, and Sons as we grieve this sudden loss together.

We grew up together in Lansing, MI. I have such found memories of baking our 1st cake together, sleep overs, playing on basketball team together ect...Carol was one of my oldest friends. Even though we have not seen each other in many years we keep in touch via facebook. Now I have to say goodbye it just don't feel real. But, I know we will meet again my friend rest in peace.
