Condolences to James, sons and the Foye family. Trumilla and and I have been close friends since 1960. I'm going to miss my friend. She was so sweet. When I had my only child, she took a half day off work to come see me at the hospital. She was there for me to give my child her first bath. We had so many good times together. No matter what we did, school work was always first. I can remember the times she would whisper in my ear that was funny and ask me why I was laughing so loud. I was there for her graduation from Bennet. Her sister Helen was with me..
Trumilla were in a few classes together at R. B. Harrison. Tru was so smart and always excelled to go above and beyond. She always encouraged others to do the same. May God comfort her family and grant them peace.
praying for the Foye family and Armstrong God Bless.
Ophelia and I grew up together. We walked the roads and would sit at the intersection and watch cars go by. When she started driving we would drive to Smithfield in her sister Helen's car. That doesn't seem like a big thing but it was to two 16 year old country girls. Our grandfathers were brothers which made us cousins. We were more like sister friends. I will miss our phone calls about the world's problems. Now she can rest from the troubles of this world and await the day that she can reunite with her love ones and friends. Until that day, family live life to the fullest because that is what she would have wanted.
My prayers are with Bro. James and sons and the family and friends! Ophelia was a joyous giving lady! Always upbeat and happy! I am so sorry for her passing, but God be with her and the family and friends! Love Elder Thaddeus Steward
