Lynn i know i am 4 years late, but just wanted to let you know the impact you had on my life. I know you're smiling down from heaven and God blessed us with your presence. So glad i met you.

Lynn, my second grader at Murphey Traditional Academy who charmed me and others as well. I recall your remarkable reading ability. I could put you in front of the class to read a story and your fellow classmates would be in awe of your ability to read expressively and pull us into the narrative. In my 33 years of teaching I never had another student replicate your amazing gift. Your Mom and Dad were so proud of their precocious child; as was I. How difficult this transition is for them. You were their treasure! Your life was invested for the cause of Christ and eternity will prove your effort here on earth to draw others to Christ was most admirable! Lynn...it took me a while to come here and write this. Hopefully I can get through this without crying. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being THE example of what every human being should strive to be. It's very rare to find someone like you, and now that you're no longer here on this earth, it hurts. You've taught me some lessons that I will continue to learn from. My most cherished memories of you were your hugs. They were so genuine, just like the person you are. I remember our last hug and us complimenting each other while doing so. You don't know this, but those compliments meant the world to me coming from you. I've always looked up to you as my older sister who I was seeking approval from like any younger sister would; so hearing those words really made my heart smile. I'm grateful for that being our last encounter in person and I wish there were more to come. I'm truly going to miss you and I will always have so much love for you. To the Douglas family, my heart is with you at this time. Lynn was truly an angel on earth. Thank you for bringing such a beautiful human being into this world.
