Derek, I'm so grateful for the time we shared together, I'm so glad to have shared joy and sometimes pain with you the time we shared will always be. I will forever miss you and I will always treasure you and the memories that we made. In our last two days of your life you made sure we both knew the value of what we both meant and stood for in each other life. So until we meet again, continue to enjoy your promotion and rest well!

Well Derek, all I can and will say is this just broke my lil hurting heart to hear of you're passing. You became like another big brother to me after your mom passed and I enjoyed all of our good times at the family home and other gatherings we had or attended. You was simply a class act with a gentle soul who didn't care for fame or lights, who would cook for me anytime being the great cook you were. To GOD be all the glory for the things He has done. Derek rest well and enjoy heaven. Love Joe😢
