Jana-Rene Chantal TreMaine was born in Flint, Michigan, to her loving mother, Barbara Jean Davis. From an early age, Jana-Rene demonstrated a deep sense of compassion, determination, and a genuine love for people that would become the defining hallmark of her life.

She began her professional journey as a paralegal / Accountant, where her intelligence, attention to detail, and dedication to helping others quickly set her apart. Her commitment to personal and professional growth led her to achieve a master’s degree—an accomplishment that reflected both her perseverance and her passion for excellence.

On May 15, 1976, Jana-Rene united in marriage with the love of her life, Jordan Ferguson Jr. Their union was one rooted in love, partnership, and shared experiences. Together, they built a life filled with memories until his passing on January 27, 2025.

Throughout her life, Jana-Rene was a woman of adventure and resilience. She traveled extensively and made her home in numerous places, embracing new cultures and communities along the way. Eventually, she settled in Miami, Florida, where she spent her final years surrounded by the warmth of the life she had built.
