Patricia Annette Rankin, 78, of Paris, Kentucky, passed away at Rock Castle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, Kentucky.
Private Visitation for family ONLY from 11:30am - 12:30pm Saturday, June 8, 2024. Funeral will follow at 1pm at Fairview Christian Church 98 Fairview Road, Sharpsburg, Kentucky.
Patricia Annette Rankin was born May 19, 1946, in Bourbon County, Paris, Kentucky, to the proud parents Loretta Henson and the late John Henry Rankin, Sr.
In her youth, Trish gave her life to Christ and began her Christian journey at Fairview Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Morgan Gilkey.
“Trish,” as she was fondly called by family and friends, attended Western High School and later moved to Lexington, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and devoted mother to her only son, Vada Rankin, who she loved dearly. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Family Feud.
On May 29, 2024, Patricia Annette Rankin at the tender age of 78, departed this life. Her precious memories will live on in her son, Vada Rankin; brother, Clayton (Dorthea) Rankin of Paris, Kentucky; two sisters, Janice Rankin (Melvin) Ladson of Cleveland, Ohio and Teresa Henson of Paris, Kentucky; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Rankin, Sr.; sister, Bertha “B.B.” (Henry) Brown and three brothers, Robert Ray “Look up” (Mary Jane) Henson, Leroy “Snake” Henson, John “Pepper Dick” (JoAnn) Rankin and a grandmother Pearl Lee King
