Deacon Benjamin Frank Barnwell, 86, husband of Etta C. Barnwell, moved from his old home to a new home to rest in God's eternal peace. He departed this life on Monday, April 28, 2025, at his residence on Davidson Tower Road, Yemassee, SC. Deacon Barnwell at his demise was a member of the Wilkerson Missionary Baptist Church, Early Branch, SC where he served on the Board of Deacons and various other capacities. He was a retired truck driver. Deacon Barnwell was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces having served in the US Army. Memories of his life and love will always abide with wife, children, grandchildren, and other relatives.
A Public visitation will be held on Sunday: May 4, 2025: 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home, Yemassee, SC.
The Celebration of Life will conclude on Monday: May 5, 2025, Twelve Noon; in the edifice of the Wilkerson Baptist Church, 21424 Pocotaligo Road, Early Branch, South Carolina. Interment and Final rites will follow in the Church Cemetery.
