Our family is sad to announce the passing of Elder Hally Fennell on Monday, July 17, 2023 in Barkersville, S. C.
Halley was the son of the late Albright and Dora Fennell.
He grew up in the Barkersville community. After a short tour of duty with the Air Force he spent several years in New Jersey.
He met and married Doris Smith and they had six children.
They relocated back to the Barkersville community where he resumed his passion for farming. He was known in the surrounding area for his hogs and watermelons.
He was known in the community as a "Jack of all trades. He would help anyone that was in need.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Hally will surely be missed.
Visitation: Friday, July 21, 2023, 5 - 7 pm in the Barkersville Holiness Church, 23908 Pocotaligo Rd, Early Branch, SC 29916.
Funeral Service: Saturday, July 22, 2023, 11:00 am in the Family Worship Center, #2 Trask Pkwy, Yemassee, SC 29945. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery, Hacklous Road, (Barkersville Community) Early Branch, SC.
