I'm at a loss for words. I've had the pleasure of knowing Lahoma ever since I was in middle school. She was Bethlehem Baptist Church children's choir and praise dance director. She was a beautiful soul whose energy would light up the room whenever she walked in. Hello everyone I am Lahoma Delphy William-Pippins God Sister Shmil Sorry I couldn't make as much as I wanted to be there in the hospital .Delphy we called her Baby New York She was a caring Sister with a heart of gold we had so much fun as a teenager even though we both got on Janie nerve wondering where we are times of night not listening I remember one time delphy said shmil.im gone to meet my boyfriend if mommy ask where I'm at just say im.next door at mimi house knowing all mommy had to do is call over there or over her door n ask so I said no I'm not lying to your mother so delphy said just do it or ima take you home I didn't want to go home so I said ok it was bout to get late mommy co.e out here room I'm trying g to ball up n the cover like noones there she said shmil where's delphy at i was scared I said with her boyfriend 30 mins later here co.e delphy coming up the stairs quietly her mom called her Delllllphy where you coming from I do t know what she said but she had to stay n the house the next day she ask wat u told mommy I said I got nervous n say u was with your boyfriend Delphy said you got mommy all yelling at me I told her something else you going home tomorrow. We laugh at that each time she comes up here to jersey I'm writing in tears wish she would call me earlier we was suppose to meet each other in myrtle Beach n Aug. Delphy we has a time growing up with each other I remember she never wanted me to go with her in karen aka kk she use to say we b right back I'm like ok sis my rider we use to be in her blue n tan convertible car she match her cousin Dana white n tan on those was the days Sister Got took you home with him he will take care of you ILl see you when I get there Love your God Sister Shmil🙏🏽🤲🏾🙏🏽💔😘

So sad to hear that Delphy has passed on, condolences to the family. I remember hanging out with Delphy on Walnut St. in Elizabeth, NJ. I would get up, get dressed, and go next door practically everyday. We shared many fun memories over the years growing up. Her mom and siblings were always so nice to me. I cannot believe my childhood friend is gone. I remember laughing with her at her home on Walnut Street, her coming to my home on Wood Ave...us getting pregnant near the same time and both having girls. Delphi was a strong soldier who had an infectious smile, loved people, and having fun. When the going got tough, when she felt she needed that change, she headed south. I am so glad to have known her. Rae, hang in there and remember the good times to help you get through. I'm praying for you all. 🙏🏽

Rae my friend so sorry my heart goes out to you and your family your grandma, sister, and brother, your beautiful children. Please find comfort in the words at Acts 24:15 And I have hope toward God which hope these men also look forward to that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteousness. It's hard right now but it will get better. Please find comfort in knowing that she suffers no more, no more of the pain that comes with this life that we live, she's resting my friend.
