The families of Nathaniel and Julia Hill (from Early Branch, Hampton,Orangeburg, and Varnville) sends their sincere condolences during your loss. Psalms 121 ๐ ๐ ๐
On many occasions, I was invited to the Jackson's residence. Mrs. Jackson ALWAYS had an encouraging word for us. Her daughter (Floraine) and I played basketball. A few hours before game time, I spent them at my classmate's house. Mrs. Jackson would let us know, "Don't try to play the game by yourself. That's why it is made up of players, NOT player! She would add, "You do your best and let/hope the other teammates would do the same, too." We always won. That year we had advanced to semifinalist. Mrs. Jackson I will always cherish your beautiful smile and gentle spirit. Rest well!
My deepest and most sincere condolences to the family. I pray God gives you all strength and comfort in the days ahead. Rainy, thank you for sharing Big Ma with me all these years. I'm going to miss her sense of humor, her QUICK wit, her metaphorical sayings, and the wisdom she often shared. She was truly of a kind. Although I can't be there physically, I'll be with you all in spirit. May the memories we have of her live on in our hearts forever.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Jackson Family. Always treasure your precious memories of Lorine.
I am deeply sorry to learn of Mrs. Lorine's passing.
I don't know of anyone who loved her hometown of Yemassee, more.
Mrs. Lorine was one of my late mother's (Alneatha Salley Hamilton) closest and dearest friends. She was a vital connection.
Mom often said, "If Lorine told you something, you can put a pin in it." That's because Mrs. Lorine maintained her community connections.
Over their many years of friendship, Mrs. Lorine and Mom supported one another through various social, church, family, and community events and activities. She will be missed.
Deepest condolences and Blessed Assurance.
