“Servant of God, well done! Rest from thy loved employ; The battle fought the victory won, Enter thy Master's joy.”
Mother Meta Shaw, 92, widow of the late William Shaw, answered the Master's call from labor to reward, at her residence in Early Branch, SC on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. A lifelong residence of the Barkersville/Early Branch Community, she was the matriarch of her family. Mother Shaw poured generously into the lives of her children, family, and community. Her gentle spirit and steadfast manner embraced those who knew and loved her.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Wilkerson Missionary Baptist Church, Early Branch, SC. Here she served in various capacities and was currently the Mother of the Church. Her departure has left a void in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family and community.
Arrangements are pending. Please keep our family lifted in prayer as they make this journey.
