Our hearts are sadden as we announce the passing of our beloved Reginald Mark Brown. A native of the Jonesville community of Yemassee, he attended the local schools. He was blessed with many gifts and shared them with joy. He was noted for his commitment and dedication for recreational activities for the community youth. As well He was a smooth DJ for many occasions and he never lost his delight in making others smile. He was loved by his family and community and will always be remembered…a loving father, kind brother, loved one and friend.
As service arrangements have been updated, we ask that you keep this family lifted in prayer.

To The Family, Please Accept My Heartfelt Condolences. Truly the loss of a precious loved one is most difficult. Please find comfort in the promise our most loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God gives us in Revelation 21:4"And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more; neither will mourning; nor outcry; nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Yes, We can look forward to a time soon to come when all suffering including death will be done away with forever. John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." To the family of Reginald Mark Brown....sending heartfelt condolences and prayers to all you that God will comfort your hearts during these difficult times!! I will always remember Mark as a gentle giant with a big heart! I will miss my classmate!!!
Our deepest condolences to the family of such a great warrior wherever he went and every person he met. I'm so grateful to have met you many years ago during school PTA meetings, baseball and basketball games. I never knew last Monday, March 2, would be our last laugh, smiles and what you were going to do once you left MUSC. We are truly going to miss you Mr. Brown, as I would always call you🫠 simply because our last names were also colors. Thank you for mentoring and showing our youth, especially my son to work hard on and off the courts. You have made such an impact on lives you have touched here on earth and for that, thank you! RIP Mr. Brown! From the Greene family💙💙💙 The MVP for Yemassee!
As a close friend of my brother I grew to know you as "gentle giant ". You always had a lot to say and your smile was noticed a mile away. Rest in peace, thanks for always trying to try to get my brother on the right track.
To the family - I certainly must thank you for allowing me to be a part Mr. Brown life. He recruited me to coach the students and him and his son would always come by my house to talk strategy for games. He also advised me on contractors to hire. There are to many things to list about such a humble human being. Dr. King said " If a man has not found something to die for it seems to me he's not fit to live " Mr. Brown something to die for was his son and the children. He always live in their hearts and especially mind. R.I.P brother. BeReal
