Mr. Robert Major, 90, formerly of the Fennell Hill Community of Yemassee, South Carolina: departed from this earthly life on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The son of the late Mr. Clarence & Mrs. Katie Green Major, Mr. Major resided in Savannah, Georgia. A man of many different hats, Mr. Major was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and so much more to all who knew and loved him. As he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta, his legacy will forever be embraced by his loving family and friends.
There will be a public visitation held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home.
Graveside Services with final rites and military honors, will conclude on Friday: January 3, Ten O' Clock in the morning, Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.

I didn't get to meet Mr. Major but I know his daughter RaSheba very well. She is a dear friend and mentor . I remember all the stories she told me about her father throughout the years. I wanted to really meet him. To meet such a man that raised so successful children. God bless Sheba and the rest of the family .
