We pause to honor the life of Mr. Rudolph Hayward, of Yemassee, South Carolina. Mr. Hayward, 84, departed from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Resorts at Beaufort LLC. Affectionately known as “Midge”, he was a devoted brother, uncle and more; the portraits of his life are forever celebrated by all who knew and loved him.

Granddad I'm truly gonna miss you. I'm gonna always remember the good days we shared growing up as a kid. Im gonna remember the day you taught me how to fish, taking me to the game rooms after my mom would say no. You was one of my biggest role models and one of my idols. Losing you too placed a hole in my heart grandad. I'm gonna love you and granny to the fullest I know y'all throwing a party up there now that yall are reunited. Continue to watch over the family💙
