“ Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” Proverbs 31:25-28

There are so many words that come to mind when I think about your life and the legacy you leave. You slipped away so soon. I'm going to keep it brief because I know you never liked a fuss being made over you. About 20 years ago I met you and your daughter Tameka and we've been family ever since. The love and wisdom you've shared over the years I'll never forget! Thank you for everything including the meals, especially Okra Rice and Peach Cobbler. To Mr. Walter, Corey, Shaun, and Meka thank y'all for sharing your wife and mom with the rest of us. We will miss her tremendously. Love you so much, Ms. Hattie! ❤️
