The words of the testimony of the beloved Mrs. Mary Helen Francis, as she departed from the walks of this life on Wednesday: August 20, 2025. A beloved mother, aunt, and more, Mother Francis, 89, was esteemed for always providing and caring for all who were close to her. As her departure leaves a void, we are forever comforted to know, βTo be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.β

Mrs. Helen was more than special to my family and me. She had a sweet spirit and a warm sense of humor that endeared her to many. Ridgeland Nursing Center staff members often remarked about how pleasant and appreciative she was.
In many ways, words fail me at this moment. Mrs. Helen will be missed, but I'm grateful for the times we had.
