My heart was saddened to hear of the passing of Cousin Nell. I am from New York and I did not reconnect with my South Carolina Family until the 1990s. My grandmother and Nell's mother were first cousins. I developed an instant connection to Cousin Nell and from the day we met at a Family Reunion in Greenville SC we stayed in touch. I do not care where I moved around the country, Nell found me and gave me a call. I talked with her just a few weeks before she passed. She never complained of her illness. I will truly miss my Cousin Nell. God saw best to call his angel, Nell Jackson, home to rest in perpetual peace. Cousin Nell, I will never forget the love you extended my way. I miss you so much, Cousin Kerima
