My precious Rose - I met you several years ago at Waffle House in Hardeeville. My deceased husband enjoyed dining there. He made friends with you and many of the staff. I fell in love with your warm and sweet personality. God is too kind and just to make mistakes - you are now one of his favorite angels to watch over all of us. Wow you will be missed I can remember our final conversation on Wednesday night around 8:30pm. I taught you years ago if you are my friend I don't say "Bye or Goodbye " because with me that's final. So on Wednesday night your parting words were "I love you sis" my response was "I love you too we'll talk later. Or the times when you would accidentally call me thinking you were calling your brother Simon and I would say Rose this is Simone with an "e" get it together and call Simon without the "e" We made each other laugh. This poem is in remembrance of you my sister my friend.
If I should die before the rest of you, Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone. Nor, when I'm gone, speak in a Sunday voice, But be the usual selves that I have known. Weep if you must, Parting is hell. But life goes on, So sing as well.
SIP Rose
I can still remember on Wednesday night our last conversation but you did not say "Bye or Goodbye" because I shared with you that's mean forever. Your parting words were "Love you sis we'll talk tomorrow " and I replied love you too. Or the times you would call me thinking you was calling your brother Simon. I would say this is Simone with the "e" not Simon we would laugh it off. This poem is in honor of our friendship. If I should die before the rest of you, Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone. Nor, when I'm gone, speak in a Sunday voice, But be the usual selves that I have known. Weep if you must, Parting is hell. But life goes on, So sing as well. SIP my sister
