Mrs.Viola Rivers, 98, widow of Elmore Rivers, of the Barkerville community of Yemassee, SC, departed this life on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her daughter's residence in Barkerville. She was a daughter of the late Hacklous Fennell and Retha Sanders Fennell. A pioneer in education, she was a retired school teacher that gave instruction for many years. Mrs. Rivers is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, 2:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2474 Frontage Road, Yemassee, SC.
All services will require facial coverings in keeping with CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
